Sam is the General Manager at the N.S.C. He is taking computer science at the University of Alberta.  This is his second summer with the N.S.C.

Chloe

Chloe McKort is the Social Media and Website Manager at the N.S.C., returning for their fourth summer with the company. They are a fourth-year Professional Communications student at MacEwan University. They are passionate about nonprofits, the arts and cultural scene in Edmonton, and hope to see the N.S.C. flourish for many years to come. They are always excited to explore their creative side, whether that’s through sketching costume ideas, creating social media and website posts, or pursuing their artistic side projects. Through the N.S.C., they’ve been trained in the art of stiltwalking and are looking forward to honing their skills further.

Alec

Alec

Alec Zaiane is the Video Technician at the N.S.C., having volunteered with us in 2021 for our augmented reality performance. He is back again this summer helping create content that transcends media forms. Alec has over four years of CGI experience and camerawork under his belt and loves learning more about tech and gear to elevate his work. He is entering his third year of computing science at the University of Alberta, and enjoys applying the skills and concepts he has learned there into his creative work. He is excited to be working with the N.S.C. again this year, and looking forward to creating with us.

Gia

Gia Maddalena is the Event Coordinator at the National Stiltwalkers of Canada. This is their first year working with the organization, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from MacEwan University in 2021. They have an athletics and coaching background, working as a Gymnastic Instructor for over eight years. They are excited to work with the public where they show off their skills in coordinating public events, workshops and stiltwalker performances.

Davis

Davis Gauthier is the costumer at the National Stiltwalkers of Canada for the summer 2022 season. Davis graduated from MacEwan University’s Theatre Production program in 2020 and is experienced with the creation, design, and construction of both character and ensemble pieces. Calm and relaxed, Davis takes an easygoing approach to life. Davis is quite the character and describes his ideal day off as “enjoying the outdoors, catching ghouls and splashing in the rain with the neighbourhood ducks, sipping an Iced-Capp and getting his beauty sleep.” He is currently working on a new pair of “space wizard” costumes for the upcoming season.

Chicago native, Indigo loved her summer internship with NSC, working in the costume department, learning amazing sewing skills.
